Hey ya'll!

Still trying to catch on to all the southern lingo and then also figure out if I want to even try using it.
We love it down here in Louisiana.

Andrew has found a great job working as a law clerk for a lawyer in a neighboring town. He is loving the new experiences he is having there and figuring out if small town law is something we might want to look into or not. He had to have surgery to fix his deviated septum so his nose was in a little cast for about a week. He has fully recovered now and can breathe and sleep a lot better!

As for me, I am growing a human.
The third trimester has been...interesting. The second was my favorite. I was happy and still comfortable and cute.  Now, at about 33 weeks, I'm big, swollen, extremely weepy, and uncomfortable. So grateful I am not an elephant though because they stay pregnant for 22 months! Poor things. I'm very excited for Hyrum to be here so I can cuddle all of his cuteness.  Every time I feel him wiggling around in there I am reminded that this is REAL. We are going to have a little baby! Then I have a freak out and start crying because Im happy or because Im scared or because Im overwhelmed or because I haven't cried that day yet and it's high time for tears. Seriously I would have thought that my tear ducts would have been dried out by now. Nope.

I am also taking two online classes through BYU Independent Study: Intro to Family History and Temple Work, and Persuasive Writing. I am loving the Family History class and as for the Writing class...well, Im sure Ill enjoy it more as I get deeper into it.

Riding the golf cart around the cane feilds

Ward activity: Pie Night. (Andrew is in the middle)

Andrew after his surgery. He was so stubborn about not falling asleep after being drugged. "I will not go to sleep! I have to be in complete control of myself!"...."I can't believe Trump is going to be a nominee. What is the world coming to!"

Crawfish Boil! I still don't like crawfish, but I learned how to peel them and that is fun!

Young Women/ Young Men bike ride. Andrew is the YM president and I am in the YW presidency. It is so fun to work with the young of the church. I still feel like I am one of them. Besides the baby bump.

This was at 28 weeks. (now about 33)  Hyrum should be about 19 inches and 4.5 pounds

This ultrasound was done at 30 weeks. As far as we can all tell, he is a healthy little guy.

Golfing! I really didn't consider golf a sport until now. It is so dang hard!!! And as you can see by the look on my face, it's not my favorite thing ever.

We went looking at strollers and car seats and it made the whole baby thing a lot more real! We are really diggin' the jogger strollers with rubber tires. Now we just have to pick one!

Me and Rachel, our YW president, just a week apart in our pregnancies, at girls' camp! The theme was "Once Upon a Time" focusing on our divine nature as women: we are daughters of our Heavenly Father.  It was a ton of fun to meet lots of people in the stake and to make new friends.

 Feeling a little plumpy.

We went to the Baton Rouge Temple as a family to do some temple work for our ancestors.  It was a great experience, especially to be doing work for those ancestors that we found on FamilySearch. Some of them have been waiting for hundreds of years.

Trying to Hyrum used to the sound of guns. Andrew's praying that Hyrum loves all things guns, politics, and debate. I saw my first live, wild, alligator on this trip!

Dad got a motorcylce! So of course Andrew had to take it out for ride. Love that American Flag bandanna on the front.

Wildlife! Micah the cat and his catch, the flying the squirrel.

We are enjoying our time here in Louisiana. Lots of adventures and time together before Hyrum gets here.
