Living in Europe has given us many opportunities to travel and for that we are so grateful! We just took a ten day trip to travel from city to city around Europe just getting a general good taste of a few major places. I would say it was DEFINITELY a success.
Our first stop on the journey was Ireland. We flew in at about midnight and rented a car, planning on just finding a car park and sleeping there through the night. WORST decision ever! But I guess it makes for a good story. It was so freezing and we had nothing but each other to snuggle with and used our back packs as pillows.

But the next morning we we just started driving. Driving for Andrew was quite the adventure considering that the Irish drive on the wrong side of the car and on the wrong side of the street! But he was a champion. The country sides of Ireland are absolutely gorgeous! If you are ever planning on going to Ireland I would highly suggest renting a car and driving instead of staying in Dublin or something. Pictures cannot even do the gorgeous landscape justice.
We saw newgrange which was a beautiful area in the hills with a monument/tomb that was about 5,000 years old.
Trim Castle: more of an ancient one. It was used in the filming of the movie Brave Heart
Just some cute little houses
If we could briefly describe Ireland in a few words we would say that it was GORGEOUS! and the Irish people are the NICEST people we have ever met as a whole. They were SO kind.

Malahide Castle or the princess castle as we like to call it.
Stopping for a stroll by the sea and got our souvenir: seashells!
